The George Inn is situated next to the stunning 11th Century Selby Abbey right in the heart of the market Town of Selby, North Yorkshire. We have our own piece of history to share as well, being a 15th century coaching inn, where in the past, horse-drawn coaches used to change horses on the way to their next destination. The George Inn has 25 ensuite hotel rooms and just a six minute walk from Selby Railway Station and the local bus station, therefore in easy reach for anyone travelling via public transport. This site has something for everyone, great drinks and food range, live sport showing on the numerous TV screens and a hidden large beer garden perfect for the summer nights.
