Pay - From 157.66 per day (dependent of experience)

Start Date: April 2024

Job Overview: As a Media Teacher working with our agency, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of Secondary schools, stepping in when regular teachers are unavailable. You will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment, ensuring that pre-prepared work is delivered effectively to students. Your adaptability and flexibility will be put to the test as you navigate different school environments and age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, following the provided guidelines and materials.
  • Manage the classroom environment to promote a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Engage with students and provide support during their learning activities.
  • Ensure students remain on task and focused, maintaining a productive learning environment.
  • Uphold the school's behaviour policy and manage any behavioural issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with school staff and leadership to provide feedback on the day's activities and student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and any relevant information as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with secondary school students is advantageous but not essential.
  • A degree in any subject is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and school staff effectively.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in different school environments and across various subjects and year groups.
  • Patience and the ability to remain composed in challenging situations.
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to positively impact young learners.
  • A commitment to representing our agency professionally and upholding the values of the schools we serve.
