The Department of Cyber & Computing is currently undergoing exciting changes including the Cyber Innovation Academy due to open later this year.

We seek to appoint an individual with vision who can contribute to the development of the programmes and to the growth of the department, fostering strong ties with industry partners. The department delivers a wide range of programmes and learning for our students, and we would particularly welcome applications from candidates who have specialisms in Cyber Security or Software Engineering.

You will combine a passion for teaching and research. The successful candidate will assume a key role in the planning, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of the programmes we offer. You will work with students, team members, and colleagues across the wider University to ensure a positive experience for students, monitor student recruitment and retention and address all University quality assurance processes. Teaching and learning experience within the Higher Education sector would be an advantage.

The role is varied and challenging, so you will need to be a highly self-motivated individual who can work flexibly and to tight deadlines, both autonomously and as part of a team. You will have outstanding communication and organisational skills and an eye for detail.

Please Note: Interviews for this position will be held in person on our Wrexham campus.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post, but not essential.
