Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
Financial control - all financial reporting and planning for the companyBudgets - annual budget process and providing insightful analysisCashflow management - day-to-day liquidity and cash investmentOperations - overseeing IT and operations to ensure smooth processes and identifying opportunities for improvementIdentifying opportunities for process improvements both externally and internallyStrategic planning - driving business objectives with the SLT and the boardRisk management - pragmatically reviewing business opportunities to maximise profit whilst minimising riskPricing - optimising profit through competitive pricing strategies
What you will need:
The organisation are seeking someone with specific, current or previous, experience of working within a creative/marketing based business to possess an understanding of their creativity-led cultureTo be a qualified accountant - ACCA / CIMA / ACA with relevant post-qualification experienceExtensive experience in a similar role, such as Head of Finance and Operations / Head of Finance / Head of Financial Operations / Financial Controller / Finance Director / Finance ManagerA working background in a creative, marketing or technology-based businessExcellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levelsStrong IT skills, including advanced Excel and ability to use MI tools to analyse information
