This allows each employee to have a vested interest in the company, where we can all contribute to and share in the company's success.We are looking for a dedicated Service Technician to work Monday to Friday from our Cardiff service centre and cover Cardiff and South Wales (could also involve travel to South/West England).The Benefits- Competitive basic salary of £22,500, with an estimated potential earning of approx. £26,000+ with on-call payments- Additional on-call payments- Contributory pension scheme- 33 days' holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays- Discounts and cashback on shopping, supermarkets and holidays as part of our rewards scheme- Salary Sacrifice Schemes including Cycle to Work- Full induction with great training and support from dedicated team members- Receive a treat on your birthday- Be a part of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) and the associated benefits of having a stake in the companyThe RoleOn completion of your training, as a Service Technician, you'll be tasked with ensuring the effective, timely and efficient delivery of products to customer sites, first line fault service visits and repairs against specific service level agreements. You will also undertake planned preventative maintenance activities, field modifications and provide support to customers for the products under contract with Medstrom. All activities are recorded via our job management system.Main responsibilities of the role:- Deliver clean, ready-to-use products to and around customer sites- Collect products after use and return to the service location for decontamination- Disinfect, function check, repair and electrical-safety test products- Complete records of testing, delivery and collection- Maintain available product stock and spare parts inventory- Complete product modifications when required- Provide product demonstrations and basic training to staff- Maintain a clean and tidy work environmentHours of work: 37.5 per week working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.You will also be required to participate in an out of hours on-call rota (once trained) to support the team and the customers, which covers weekends.
