Great opportunity for an experienced Stores / Warehouse person to join a small team for our client in High Wycombe Do you have previous store/warehouse experience working in a small team? Have you used an ERP system & are you comfortable using a computer? If so this might be the ideal opportunity for you.
Experience on forklift trucks will be an advantage but full training will be given so it isn't essential.
What you will need to be? literate and numerate. Have a good level of understanding of the English Language to be able to read & understand and follow basic production documentation:
Manual Skills Required: Visual and manual dexterity to perform Production Operations including Assembly. Use of light industrial equipment and hand tools. Keyboard Skills.
The Hours are Mon - Friday, week 1: 730-3.30 week 2: 9-5 Rotating.
The successful applicant should have the following profile: Both literate and numerate. Be adaptable and have a proactive personality. Be detailed and methodical mind with good organisational skills.
You will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. Duties: Receive incoming goods and ensure delivery is correct with the paperwork supplied. Work with the Warehouse Supervisor to maintain RMA system and Quarantine Area Store stock items in relevant locations or deliver goods to the appropriate department.
Where necessary, inspect or test finished goods or components. Insert and Attach labels and relevant paperwork to goods where required or defined by SOPs
Work in an efficient and tidy manner. Operate a strict FIFO system. Pack and despatch orders daily maintaining appropriate records. Keep a sequential copy of all delivery notes for each order line so that an effective product recall can be implemented should the need arise.
Ensure product disposal of any sterile product is carried out in line with company policy. Assist in stock checks. Manage the stock of samples. Assist with administration duties, such as photocopying, when required. Carry out "handyman" jobs as needed.
The Managing Director gives a general introduction to the company. Further induction training is given by the completion of the Induction Training For Office Staff form.
A training schedule is devised to meet the needs of the individual. This will include the use of the computer system and relevant software packages. SOPs that have a direct application to the job should be reviewed and understood. This forms part of the training records.
