A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE COMMIS CHEF AT THE IMPERIAL HOTEL BLACKPOOL

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Head Chef, you can expect your working day to include the following:

Assist in the preparation of great food for our guests. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Assist with the proper storage of food and stock deliveries. To follow food safety and hygiene regulations. To support the senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.

To succeed in the role of Commis Chef, you will need the following qualities and skills:

Ambition and a passion for great food The ability to thrive in a fast paced, and at times high-pressure, team environment. A willingness to learn and grow professionally. A flexible attitude to working hours, which will include evenings, weekends and the occasional breakfast shifts.
