Job description

Aardvark Swift have teamed up with an award-winning and market leading communications agency as they recruit for a Senior Account Director for their Consumer team.

This role would suit an experienced Senior Account Director or an Account Director who's ready to take the next step in their career.

The agency works with top brands across sectors including gaming, sports and consumer tech to deliver award-winning campaigns. Their expertise spans running press offices, crafting creative campaigns, and responding to media trends to name but a few.

Your responsibilities...

  • Leading day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring excellence in delivery
  • Managing budgets and timelines to keep projects on track
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing strategic counsel
  • Leading media relations, securing coverage with top-tier contacts
  • Supporting new business efforts, from proposal writing to pitch development

The skills and experience you'll bring to the role...
  • Strong experience in gaming PR, and able to manage consumer accounts across tech, sports, travel, and lifestyle
  • A passion for gaming, knowledge of key industry events, and able to differentiate trends like Fortnite Festival from general gaming celebrity involvement
  • Solid media contacts, an understanding of the landscape across national, lifestyle, online, and tech sectors, and confidence in managing media relationships
  • Team mentality, comfortable managing both up and down, and eager to take on both big and small tasks with enthusiasm
