Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) is a Securities Services product that provides asset managers the ability to leverage JP Morgan's markets expertise and trading technology to manage the transaction and position lifecycle and generate portfolio investment data for trading purposes. The IMOS product encompasses a multi-asset class offering, including securities, futures and options, equity swaps, OTC derivatives with functionality across trade services, collateral management, asset servicing, trading books of records (IBOR), and offers a great opportunity for career development.

Job Summery

Reporting to the Global Head of Middle Office Product Development, the Executive Director will:

  • Responsible for the day to day oversight of the EMEA Product Development team including:
  • Handling daily escalation items from the EMEA team relating to their BAU activities
  • Oversee prioritization and book of work, aligned to strategic and client delivery for each workstream
  • Enabling the subject matter expert leads and team members for optimal delivery and strategic design

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee a large EMEA based client migrations and several new client onboardings, which includes:

  • Providing comprehensive product expertise to clients, understanding and engaging on the offering and platform end to end

  • Leading client discussions on a joint design, providing thought leadership, strategic vision, and negotiation of implementation

  • Identification and management of the joint development plan, partnering with appropriate teams to enable new products

  • Oversee ongoing change management across clients

  • Prod Dev Strategic Charles River Integration Lead

  • Partner with Vendor and Internal POTLs to ensure strategic integration of IMOS data with Charles River

  • Prod Dev lead for the Recon Workstream

  • Leads the IMOS design and requirements for strategic reconciliation build out across all asset classes

  • Drive the Recon POTL to execute in accordance with agreed requirements and roadmap

  • Partner with product to ensure we have a clear recon product definition

  • Engage the organization and partner with product, operations, technology, and the project management teams to execute on appropriate client deliveries

  • Provide thought leadership on new product opportunities and the next generation of outsourced middle office capabilities and new technology opportunities

  • The lead will also play a role partnering with product management to drive client retention and strategic new business growth

Required Qualifications, Capabilities , and Skills

  • Strong experience in a client facing role negotiating and partnering with clients to align to best practices and strategically solution to their needs
  • A proven track record of strategic delivery, effectively resolving challenges to ensure timely delivery and achieve business benefits
  • Comprehensive knowledge of middle office functions across a broad range of asset classes, previous experience in a middle office operational, product development, or product leadership position a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in all forms, verbal and written; executive level presentation skills a plus
  • Excellent at influencing and negotiating, while also developing and maintaining collaborative relationships both internally and with clients;

  • Analytical skills, problem solving, strong critical thinking and decision-making skills based upon fact and business/industry knowledge
  • Ability to drive an agenda and consensus across multi-functional and cross-regional teams
