Our client is looking for an Audit Senior to join their growing team. You will join at senior level in a busy, dynamic Audit & Assurance team.

Responsibilities:
Joining as Audit Senior you will be reporting into the Audit Manager and responsible for:
Helping to build their audit client baseLeading audit and assurance assignmentsPreparing quotes and presenting to potential clientsImplementing efficiencies in audit processesProviding accounts technical advice to clients and the teamKeeping the audit system under review to ensure methodology is up to dateImplementing changes required under audit reformUndertaking compliance reviews and assisting with ICAEW returnsWorking with the Seniors and developing team membersWorking with the training manager to ensure the team receive appropriate training
About the Applicant:
As the successful applicant, you will:
Have experience working in practice on a wide range of audits, ideally you will already have achieved RI status with the ICAEWHave excellent technical skills and a keen eye for detail. You will have extensive experience of UK GAAP, in particular FRS 102 and the charity SORPBe ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally with 5 years PQEExperience in managing other team members would be usefulThe role has a high level of client contact so the ability to explain and debate accounting issues clearly is important. You also need to be able to deal with difficult issues and be able to deal with potential conflict over audit opinions.Good communication skills are important, you will be comfortable presenting to potential clients, clients and colleagues.Good organisational skills are required as you will work with several partners, directors and managers to meet the compliance needs of their clients.
