We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled individual with excellent subject knowledge to join our science department as a Deputy Curriculum Leader. The successful candidate will carry out the professional duties of a teacher whilst being accountable for educational outcomes of learners within key stages 3 and 4 across the curriculum area. You will support the Director or Curriculum Leader to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum and line manage allocated teachers within the department. 

We are looking for a colleague who has: 

  • Experience supporting the improvement of teaching and learning strategies in Science
  • A successful track record as a teacher that demonstrates high-quality teaching and learning and implementing strategies that have a positive impact on learner outcomes
  • Experience of learning initiatives to raise achievement in Science
