The opportunity to join our Trust Accounting Team within Credit Suisse Trust Limited. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of financial statements, and any required additional reporting for a small number of key clients, including assisting with the provision of financial information for regulatory and audit purposes. This may include as required some bookkeeping and ledger reconciliation work.
  • Quality control review of financial statements prepared within the Guernsey and Mumbai accounting teams and liaison to ensure quality assurance and inform of quality improvement.
  • Participating in regulatory reporting to ensure accuracy of information being delivered to local and international regulators.
  • Assisting with Internal control objectives/ workstreams and supervision of team members reporting information to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Ongoing CPD and internal training opportunities to maintain professional standards and provide high quality levels of service

You Offer

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Sound accounting and bookkeeping knowledge, preferably with an accounting qualification, for example ACCA, CA or similar
  • Proficient MS Office skills, especially Excel / Word.
  • Ability to work independently take ownership and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • You show strong written, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious, hardworking, deliver on time with a high level of attention to detail and quality standards
  • Excellent problem-solver, being able to use good judgement
