As a Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for the integrity of the financial information, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and UK GAAP for transactions. This will include but not limited to ;

Preparation of monthly management accounts and assistance in review of sales report for distribution to the directors and senior managers including unbilled warehouse journals, accruals journals.Overseeing the year end statutory accounts preparation for external audit.Owning the Balance Sheet accounts including monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations across two sites, which are subsequently reported to Group Finance Team for both Americold Whitchurch and Americold SpaldingSupporting the annual budgeting process and monthly forecastigMaintaining the PO process including setting up new customers/suppliers within SAPAssisting, as required, the Financial Controller and FP&A Manager with reporting and projectsWeekly cashflow forecasting to Finance Director and Group Finance team across Americold Whitchurch and Americold SpaldingPreparation of weekly / monthly supplier payment runs for review & approval by managementAllocating payments to supplier invoices
