We are currently seeking a Contract Lead - Procurement to join our rapidly expanding team based in Harrogate, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The Contract Lead will work closely with the Business Integration and Business Development teams to onboard new suppliers to HFS and to contract new properties to existing HFS suppliers under our National Framework Agreements.The postholder should be confident, analytical, and process-driven, with excellent communication skills.
Contract Lead Procurement, will support 'when availability is given' the procurement team in all aspects of the on-boarding procurement cycle, as well as supporting with BAU procurement activities. This includes identifying potential opportunities, assisting with tenders, building supplier relationships and working with internal departments to promote the procurement initiatives and successes to the wider business.
Accuracy is critical in this role, and the Senior Procurement Coordinator should be comfortable working with processes and systems. They should take pride in their work and be very attentive to detail. Additionally, they should be comfortable with data analysis and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Main Duties:
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Work closely with the Business Integration team to on-board new suppliers and new properties with existing suppliers.
To ensure contracts are in place and purchase orders are fulfilled accurately and, in a time-efficient manner.
Work with the Contract Lead - Procurement ensure that supplier contracts are novated, terminated or in place at property handover or termination of management contract
Work with the Business Integration team to 'demobilize' properties which are transferring our of our management, ensuring all supplier contracts are either novated to the incoming operator or terminated.
Issuing incoming Property teams with supplier information
Updating the Business Development team with any costings or fees relative to pre-commencement or mobilization budgets
To own the Procurement aspects of the property on-boarding process.
Identify opportunities to improve current processes.
Attending Client and incoming/outgoing operator calls with the Business Integration team
Support the Procurement function for resolving non-compliant invoices for all properties (supported by the Procurement Coordinator)
Attend supplier meetings to build knowledge around categories of your interest.
Act as 1st line support for any on-boarding/mobilization property queries coming into the Procurement.
Be a supportive team member.

Experience and Qualifications
Essential
2 years' experience in a contract, transitional, Project Manager role.
Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in purchasing technology and tools.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in procurement activities.
Familiarity with database management systems .
Excel (Advanced) and BI Knowledge
Desirable
1-2 year experience within a procurement / supply chain setting.
Facilities management knowledge
Experience in office administration and purchase ordering.
Experience working in the accommodation sector. (Public or Private)
