The Accounts Clerk is responsible for assisting the Finance Consultant with all aspects of the accounting department, including the preparation of financial statements, analysis of financial data, and compliance with accounting standards.
The Accounts Clerk will also provide financial advice and support to the executive team and other departments within the organisation. The position is based in our Orpington head office, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key
Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsAnalyse financial data to identify trends and potential problems Ensure that all accounting records are accurate and up-to-date Comply with all applicable accounting standards and regulations Provide financial advice and support to the executive team and other departments within the organisationSupport the Finance Consultant in all accounting tasksStay up-to-date on the latest accounting trends and technologies To lead and Maintain an effective and automated system for Accounts Receivable and Accounts PayableEnsuring all relevant transactions are properly recorded in the financial ledger in accordance with current accounting standardsWorking with the Finance Consultant, responsible for the production of the Annual AccountsMaintain an effective Internal Audit ServiceTo ensure that the links between financial systems and other corporate systems and robust and effectiveThis includes payroll and HMRC recordsResponsible for ensuring value for money, economy, and effectiveness in the operation of the procurement functionsResponsible for providing guidance and management of the procurement of identified products, equipment, services, and facilities for the Company to conduct its business
