Brilliantin Automotive Recruitment is seeking a highly organised and forward-thinking Aftersales Manager for a successful and fast-paced dealership. The role is full-time and permanent and is to support the Head of Business by overseeing the Aftersales Department including Service, Parts, and Workshop.

We are looking for someone proactive, willing to lead by example, and capable of bringing the Aftersales department together to ensure efficiency and excellent customer service.

As the aftersales manager, you will serve as a role model for customer service excellence and work to develop long-lasting, meaningful relationships with customers. You will also be responsible for coaching and motivating the team.

Reporting to the Head of Business, you will be responsible for your team members and expected to ensure satisfactory department performance. The role involves managing all aspects of the department, from the day-to-day operations of the workshop and maximizing technician productivity to ensuring service advisors are customer-focused and achieve upselling targets. Additionally, you will be responsible for budget and KPI monitoring.

  • Assist in providing guidance, training, and appraisals to each of the Service team to encourage a forward-thinking attitude putting the customer at the heart of everything.
  • Maximise customer satisfaction by treating everyone as an individual and delivering an exceptional service experience.
  • Monitor department performance against budget, identify any shortfall, and implement plans to improve the performance
  • Analyse local market statistics to identify opportunities within the territory
  • Organise departmental forecasts and reports in a clear and timely manner
  • Manage and own Departmental Customer Satisfaction score.

You should have previous experience in a similar high-end automotive setting and a proven track record in aftersales transactions while providing exceptional customer service.

You must also have experience leading a highly motivated team and be capable of maximising each team member's potential. You will be confident in monitoring financial performance against budgets and the ability to promptly address any shortfalls.

You will be working for one of the leading motor vehicle retailers in the UK. This company represents various vehicle manufacturers and sells and services a wide range of cars through over 140 franchised dealerships across hundreds of locations in the UK.
