Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist assessment and intervention to a defined caseload across the Assessment Ward, Treatment Wards, and the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
  • Utilize the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) as the primary model of practice.
  • Ensure all assessments and interventions are evidence-based and evaluated using recognized outcome measures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Support patients in their recovery journey through tailored occupational therapy interventions.
Essential Criteria:
  • Proven experience in delivering occupational therapy services in a mental health setting.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans.
  • Familiarity with MOHO and a commitment to using evidence-based practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous experience working in an Assessment Ward, Treatment Ward, or PICU.
  • Experience with specific outcome measures relevant to mental health occupational therapy.
