Assistant Head Chef

Are you an experienced assistant head chef? Our client is looking for an assistant head chef to assist for 3 months in a hospital environment.

Working hours:

  • 37.5hours
  • 7.30am - 3.30pm over 5 days (includes rotational weekend work)

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting managing a team
  • Developing recipes
  • Food costings and managing GP
  • Ability to effectively lead culinary operations
  • Managing rotas
  • Stock take
  • Ensuring all food safety regulations are being adhered to on a daily basis
  • Ensuring COSH is being followed at all times
  • Customer focused with excellent communication skills

Requirements

  • Food Hygiene Level 2
  • NVQ level 3 Culinary Skills or equivalent
