We are seeking an EHS Advisor to join our team at the Port of Great Yarmouth and help us keep the world moving

Your Role

In this role you will support the development and delivery of local, South East cluster, and Group EHS improvement plans and initiatives. You will ensure incidents are reported, investigated and actions managed to the requirements defined by Group Governance, promoting positive QSHE messages.

You will act as EHS Advisor for operational/engineering areas and develop a working knowledge of all operational areas within the South East Cluster to provide resilience within the team. You will consult with employees and external stakeholders, leading training and development courses to ensure EHS is at the forefront of all activities.

What you'll bring

You will have experience in a Health and Safety role, ideally gained in a high risk environment. You will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of UK regulatory and legislative EHS requirements. You will hold at least NEBOSH General Certificate and ideally be working towards IOSH membership.

Excellent communication skills as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.Auditing experience or qualifications would be beneficial.
