  • To aid our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced back-end focussed Software Engineer to join our cross functional Engineering team.
  • You will have significant involvement in the continual evolution of our products, working collaboratively with the team to improve and develop our truly disruptive SaaS platform.
  • The role will primarily focus on building our platform back-end services and AWS cloud platform.
  • You will be designing, building and running APIs, integrations and processing pipelines.
  • Through this you will be acquiring customer call recordings, orchestrating analysis and insight, automating and improving business processes and surfacing this to users through secure APIs.
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic person who is keen to help shape an exciting project with huge commercial potential. The successful candidate will be a core part of the Engineering Team helping build our platform across advised services. Key responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with peers in our remote cross functional team of Engineers, Product Owner, UX Designers and NLP Engineers
  • Design and deliver well tested, robust platform services and pipelines
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of the scalability, security and observability of our platform to support our growing customer base
  • Participate in the improvement of the developer experience
  • Extend our 3rd party system integrations and marketplace offerings
  • Lead technical collaboration and integration with prospective clients
  • Embrace team agile practices and contribute to the continual improvement of our processes and engineering culture
What we are looking for :
  • Experience using Node.js and TypeScript to build robust and secure serverless services and APIs
  • Proven experience working with AWS cloud-native services and monitoring tools
  • Customer-focused mindset to understand the business objectives and translate these to forward thinking features that will delight our users
  • Automation first approach to engineering, testing and delivery with exposure to DevOps principles.
  • We build it, ship it and own it
  • Experience following Agile working practices and contributing to a high performing engineering culture
  • Passion for collaboration, skill sharing and mentoring to raise the skills in the team
  • Ideally experience working in a multi-tenant SaaS start-up environment
  • Interest in NLP and Machine learning
  • As we are a small team, willingness to work across the stack when needed with React experience would be beneficial
