As our IP Specialist Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality legal services across a broad spectrum of IP matters. This role is designed for individuals with 2-8 years post-qualification experience (PQE) who are eager to make a significant impact within our IP department. The position offers a blend of autonomy and collaboration, allowing you to manage your caseload while also working closely with senior partners on complex matters.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of IP issues, including but not limited to, copyright, trademarks, patents, and design rights.
  • Represent clients in IP litigation cases or manage non-contentious IP matters, depending on your area of expertise.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate IP agreements and licenses.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide tailored legal solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of our IP practice through business development activities and thought leadership.

Requirements:

  • A qualified solicitor with 2-8 years PQE in Intellectual Property law.
  • Experience in IP litigation or non-contentious IP matters is essential.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A proactive and innovative thinker with a client-centric approach.
