Job Description:

The DXC Technology consultant is an experienced, multi-skilled professional, focused on operating and maintaining the operational environments of DXC customers as per the environment design and contractual agreements.

We are looking for a Microsoft Exchange Engineer - Expert - with at least 5+ years' experience with On-Premise Exchange or in a hybrid environment (preferably Exchange 2016) - to provide on-going support and assistance with the support and implementation of UK Highly Secure Exchange Environment. This role includes customer facing elements, so understanding how Outlook operates with the Exchange environment is critical.

This engineer would also preferably have skills in other collaboration tools that compliment Exchange, such as Unity Sync and Microsoft Identity Manager.

The Roles Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for configuration, management, and support of on-prem messaging services with key focus on availability, performance, and new deliverables.
  • Experience creating/writing High Level Design, Low Level Design and Operations guides as part of project deliverable.
  • Pro-active approach towards defect management resolutions as part of technical assurance activities.
  • Confidence in working with internal teams and cross capability teams alongside account and customer engagement.
  • Work with a project team (PM, System admins, Architects and Clients) in a high communication standard manner
  • Working with detailed change management processes and configuration processes

Desirable Skills:

  • MS Exchange 2016-2019 (MS Certified Engineer)
  • Office 365 Experience
  • OWA Functionality
  • SharePoint, Teams, Lync working knowledge
  • High Availability & Disaster Recovery Options
  • Powershell awareness and/or scripting ability
  • Microsoft Windows 7 and 10

About you:

  • UK national (dual nationals are acceptable).
  • Happy to go through Security Clearance or already security cleared to SC level where willing to do DV Clearance.
  • Candidates looking to move into a 3rd line role or already working in a 3rd line role.
  • Confident in delivering high level technical representation of issues; including conference calls and handling of technical resolution.
  • Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors and customers.
  • Passionate about technology.
  • Natural problem solver.
  • Ability to work with an Agile Team, being able to be self-driven and looking for continuous improvements.
