Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our client's team as a Team Leader in the Food Manufacturing industry. This is a full-time position based in the stunning area of Dolgellau, North Wales. We are looking for a people focused candidate who is both analytical and organised with the ability to manage production schedules and work shifts effectively.

As a leader in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry, our company prides itself on producing high-quality food products that exceed our customers' expectations. The company are constantly evolving and growing, which is why they require a Team Leader who can successfully guide and motivate our team towards achieving production targets.



Team Leader Responsibilities:
Leading a team of production staff and overseeing their day-to-day operations
Developing and implementing production schedules to meet demand and deadlines
Monitoring and analysing production data to identify areas for improvement
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
Maintaining accurate inventory levels and managing stock rotation
Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth production processes
Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members
Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures
Identifying training needs and providing coaching and support to team members
Continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality within the production process



Team Leader Role Requirements:
Proven and Developed work experience in food manufacturing, with a track record in a team leadership role
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including HACCP and food safety standards
Highly analytical with the ability to interpret production data and make evidence-based decisions
Organised with excellent time-management skills and the ability to manage production schedules effectively
Experience working with shift patterns and managing shift workers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate, and develop a team
A hands-on approach and a willingness to work alongside the production team when necessary
A strong understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them
Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A degree or diploma in Food Science, Manufacturing, or related fields is preferred but not required
Being flexible and able to adapt to changes in production demands and schedules



In return for your excellent experience and strong working ethics, the company will provide you with:
Salary 33,100 per annum
Shifts will be Monday to Friday rotating week by week, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
Night shift overtime opportunity at a rate of 25%
