What you'll be doing:

Leading a team of Lean Process Engineers across the US Programmes manufacturing areas responsible for continuous improvement, being an innovator of positive change that impacts Safety, Quality, Deliver, Cost and People. Responsible for leading and developing a team, promoting learning, managing and coaching performance, setting objectives and managing absence. Drives execution of Lean principles and all related initiatives such as Kaizen, structured problem solving and other "Best in Class" continuous improvement processes. Lead various cross-functional teams with manufacturing operations in support of Kaizen and Lean Action Work-out events Implement Lean Manufacturing strategy and initiatives including set-up reduction, workplace organisation, process control and standardised work. Analyse problems, account for variances, drive for root cause and implement improved methods and procedures, create, review and update improvement plans.

Your skills and experiences:

Demonstrated potential to lead, engage, train and develop direct reports Demonstrated experience in a production manufacturing role responsible for driving process improvements Exceptional organisational and project management skills; demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects Awareness of Continuous Improvement principles such as Effective Line Management, Built in Quality, Failure Mode & Effect Analysis, Rate Manufacture (Takt & Flow), Kaizen, Standardised Work, Problem Solving, 5S - Workplace Organisation Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or Trade school certificate/degree and direct hands-on experience in manufacturing)

The Continuous Improvement team:

As a part of Continuous Improvement team, you will partner with the organisational leadership to drive process improvements that will deliver effective Manufacturing Operations processes, meet customers demand requirements and on time delivery. This by acting in areas as asset management, process control, manufacturing industrialisation, manufacturing scheduling and cycles, capacity improvements, visual and daily management.
