Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial pumps and they are offering an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer on a permanent basis to further their career in the Heart of Birmingham

Annual Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 (DOE)
Weekly Hours: Mon - Fri: 7.30am to 4pm

Duties of the Mechanical Engineer:
  • Maintaining & repairing industrial sized pumps
  • Proficient at using hand tools and machinery
  • Must be able to read from engineering drawings
  • Help with upkeep of the building when required
  • Fault finding and problem solving
  • Planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Keep an accurate log of all work carried out

Experience & Skills:
  • At least 5 years experience Mechanical Fitting or similar environment
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • Self-initiative
  • Strong communication in a team
