Privacy Coordinator

Salary: Excellent

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours Per Week: 40 Hours

We re looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Privacy Coordinator to join our Data Protection Team. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing and coordinating the team s task prioritisation including managing Subject Access Requests, incident management and addressing any Privacy related queries from customers and colleagues.

What you ll be doing:

  • You ll contribute to reviewing, developing, and implementing internal policies
  • You ll maintain records of data processing activities and help our growing business comply with data protection laws.
  • You ll assist with privacy inquiries from customers and colleagues.
  • You ll assist with completing and managing DPIAs including follow up tasks and ensuring remediations are completed.
  • You ll ensure appropriate administration of Subject Access Requests (SAR) process in line with the GDPR and the ICO guidance.
  • You ll co-ordinate the privacy training for the business.
  • You ll maintain records of data processing activities to ensure compliance with data protection laws as our business grows.


What you ll have:

We re looking for somebody with knowledge and proven experience in data protection compliance and who can demonstrate a passion for data protection and privacy-related matters.

  • You ll have strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact with the stakeholders at all levels.
  • You ll be detail-orientated with a high level of accuracy and integrity in handling in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • You ll have the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
