An excellent opportunity is available for a civil litigator (6-10 PQE) to join the Litigation team of one of the regions fastest growing law firms. This fast-moving, varied, and challenging role is within a dedicated team of five fee earners, part of a broader Litigation department. Responsibilities
The role involves providing legal expertise on a rage of disputes, including contentious commercial property, rights over land, and breach of contract. The position requires expanding knowledge into new areas of law, delivering clear and pragmatic advice, and ensuring files are maintained to required standards. Additionally, the candidate will develop an understanding of the insurance industry and the role of an insurance panel law firm.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have commercial litigation experience, a strong understanding of Civil Procedure Rules, and technical knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation. Experience with insurance claims, particularly legal expenses insurance, is preferred but not essential. Strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in IT are necessary, along with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail. The candidate must demonstrate excellent client care, written communication, and team collaboration skills.
