Think Legal Recruitment are working with a longstanding Yorkshire regional law firm who are looking for an experienced conveyancing fee earner to join their busy team in their central York office.

The right candidate needn't be qualified so long as they have over 3 years' experience of carrying their own caseload of conveyancing matters.

The team is really busy and this is an expansion role.

This is not a conveyancing factory, nor is it a sleepy traditional practice.

The role will be to carry a modern caseload of conveyancing matters dealing with both sale and purchase files. You will have experience of dealing with freehold and leasehold properties, transfers of equity, shared ownership etc.

Work comes in from word of mouth referrals, repeat clients, 3rd part professionals etc. The team has great relationships in the York area and they want an ambitious lawyer to come in who is keen to maintain and build those relationships. 

The York office is headed by a young and approachable Partner who really looks after staff and wants her team to progress internally. Her pathway has gone from conveyancing assistant to Partner in 8 years so the blueprint is there for those who perhaps want to have career progression, but cant get it at their current place of work.
