  • 07:00 am - 14:30 pm

  • 21:15 pm - 07:15 am

Person Specification
Experience
  • Experience of working in a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities environment
  • Previous NHS Experience
Qualifications
  • All Care support worker roles will be required to provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification.
  • Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements.
  • Care Certificate from an NHS Organisation.
  • QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011.
  • QCF Level 2 OR above Diploma in Health & Social Care or Clinical Healthcare Support issued after 2011.
  • QCF Level 3 OR above Diploma in Healthcare Support or Maternity & Paediatric Support issued after 2011 (For Paediatric & Maternity roles only).
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing and currently do not have an NMC Registration.
  • MAPA or Safety Intervention training Advanced and Emergency Desirable however if you do not hold this training will be provided.
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Service Users physical/emotional needs
  • IT Literate
  • Understanding of promotion of independent living
  • Understanding the principles of Service Users with complex needs/ challenging behaviour
  • Understanding of Teamwork
