Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Hygiene Department Trainer.  This role is crucial in ensuring that our hygiene standards remain consistently high across all shifts. The successful candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, including night and day shifts, based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Hygiene Manager, Hygiene Shift Leaders and Training Manager to maintain the Training Matrix as a dynamic and up-to-date document.Become proficient in all Cleaning Instruction Cards (CIC) relevant to the Hygiene Department and train operations team members accordingly.Ensure that employee training records are accurately maintained and signed-off upon completion of training.Work closely with the team to promptly record all departmental transfers or changes in operative positions, updating relevant paperwork as needed.Prepare and deliver Work Instructions to ensure all employees are trained in departmental procedures.Ensure compliance with 5S standards and regulations by conducting training sessions as required.Conduct timely renewal training for all operatives.Regularly audit SOPs and operatives to maintain compliance.Identify and address training gaps as they arise.Provide support to new starters in the area as requested.Identify gaps in e-learning and establish timelines for completion.Deliver training on Food Safety Culture and conduct audits to ensure compliance.Perform any other duties as required to support the hygiene department's operations.

Skills:

Proficiency in computer literacy is requiredGood communicationHygiene experience recommendablePrevious experience in manufacturing is desirableStrong attention to detail is essentialEffective people management skills are essentialAbility to work well within a team environment
