We are now seeking to appoint a Deputy Director of Global Recruitment, Admissions and Marketing. Reporting to the Director of Global Recruitment, Admissions & Marketing, you will provide overarching leadership, development, and management of the wider team, with a specific responsibility for the strategic direction and delivery of global recruitment and international partnerships at the University. You will also liaise with the Admissions and Marketing teams to enhance applicant conversion, admissions, and the applicant experience. You will deputise for the Director and represent the University nationally and internationally, raising it profile, identifying and delivering partnership opportunities, and advising senior management on a range of important issues.
This is an exciting time to be joining the University of Southampton as we continue in our mission to change the world for the better. You will have an excellent understanding of the Higher Education sector and experience of developing successful growth-oriented student recruitment strategies in the UK and international markets. With a data driven approach, you will have demonstrable ability to analyse market intelligence, forecast trends and future developments and create targets in respects of the UK/EU and International HE markets. A collaborative and inspiring leader, you will have experience of motivating and developing large teams, managing significant budgets, and delivering marketing campaigns that demonstrate return on investment. With strong interpersonal skills, you will have proven ability to work strategically with senior colleagues across the university and to build external partnerships.
