Job summary

The Accounts Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Service Funds accounting system and Public Accounts operating requirements.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

Job description

  • Acting as the deputy for OC Accounts.
  • Duties as per Public Accounts Clerk.
  • Provide advice to the Fund OIC’s, Committee Members and Auditors on all things relating to Service Funds.
  • Responsible for the operation of the Sage Computerised accounting system.
  • Maintaining the accounts of the Combined Mess, Junior Ranks Welfare Fund and all Banked Funds, including subsidiary activities.
  • Check and verify documents, records and accounts.
  • Collecting and assembling information for returns, accounts and reports.
