Our client, a leading innovator in complex project delivery in the Nuclear, Offshore and Renewables, both UK and globally, currently seeking an experienced engineer to work on an exciting long-term project in Seascale, Cumbria.

Key Skills & Attributes:
To develop, liaise and deliver packages of construction works within a defined scope overseeing and interfacing with the activity of several consortium partners and sub-contractors to ensure work is conducted within established safety, quality, schedule and cost standards.
Must have a wide range of experience in project management in a highly regulated & safety focused organisation. Ideally in construction engineering, reporting to the Lead Engineer.
Highly skilled in the following areas:
  • Advanced project management techniques across multi-functional organisations.
  • To drive forward, manage and influence complex project work-scopes.
  • Strong communication skills, being able to liaise with all levels of staff from engineers, sub-contractors, customers and stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of engineering and construction laws/regulations, adhering to CMP’s, inc. company-wide and functional BOPs and WI’s.
  • Adept at using reporting tools covering estimating, scheduling, programming, reports and risk analysis & earned value tools.
  • Knowledge/experience with Navisworks Freedom and Microsoft Office, with strong IT Skills and Planning.
Highly skilled in managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, across a range of complex multi-discipline projects/environments, and the effective & supportive management of an integrated project team.

Prerequisite Training:
CCNSG – Supervisor / Safety Passport Training Course / Focus2Zero Leader Training / IOSH Managing Safety / NEBOSH National Certificate.
 
Qualifications / Accreditation's:

  • The successful candidate will be from a time served background in one of Mechanical, Engineering, Electrical/ Civil/ Structural/ Piping/ EC & I
  • ONC/HNC/HND in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Structural/ Piping/ EC & I Engineering or significant related experience.

Clearance Requirements: 
The successful candidate must have the ability to gain the relevant security clearances.
