We’re excited to be recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in Stroud, looking for an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join their dedicated team and inspire a new generation of linguists. As the MFL Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence and proficiency in Spanish and French. You’ll foster a love for languages and global cultures, creating a vibrant and inclusive classroom environment. Located in the picturesque town of Stroud, this school prides itself on its inclusive and student-centered approach. You’ll join a supportive team dedicated to providing high-quality language education and helping students appreciate the cultural richness of language learning. The role also offers opportunities for professional development and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
Deliver high-quality Spanish and French lessons to students of varying abilities
Develop innovative lesson plans that encourage active learning and language retention
Promote cultural awareness and appreciation through engaging and immersive content
Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s MFL curriculum goals
Lead or assist with extracurricular language clubs, exchanges, and cultural activities
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications in MFL
Proficiency in both Spanish and French, with a passion for teaching both languages
A positive, energetic approach to language teaching that encourages student engagement
