Senior Backend Engineer - Python Permanent – Hybrid Working £70,000 - £80,000 base plus package We are currently recruiting a Senior Backend Engineer to join a talented engineering team, building highly scalable backend services that power exceptional customer experiences. This is a role where your technical expertise will directly shape the future of retail and other new greenfield digital services. Experience you need to have: Extensive experience (7+yrs) within Python (ideally using Django ) A solid understanding of databases, OO design, data structures and SOLID principles Analytical mindset with a love for problem-solving and continuous improvement Experience with modern practices including code reviews, pair programming and Agile Strong collaborative approach - energy and drive to work in a fast-paced environment The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across the team Tech Stack includes: Python, Django, AWS, PostgreSQL, FastAPI, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub The Package: £70,000-£80,000 base salary 10% performance-based bonus 28 days annual leave (plus public holidays) Private medical insurance 8% pension (total) Apply now or to hear more get in touch with Connor Smyth at Anson McCade on 020 7780 6706.
