Role: Manager, Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Working Arrangement: Dynamic hybrid, 3 days per week on-site.

Compensation: £80k+ base salary, £5,000 car allowance, performance-based bonus of 10-20%

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Identity & Access Management (IAM) Manager to lead a group of 20 professionals in Edinburgh. This strategic role involves securing critical business assets by shaping and delivering transformative IAM solutions.

As organisations embrace digital evolution, secure identity and access protocols become paramount. You’ll guide clients in creating and sustaining advanced IAM frameworks that support growth and mitigate risk in the rapidly changing landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end transformation programs across Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access (PAM), Access Management (AM), and Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM).
  • Provide IAM subject matter expertise to design governance structures that align with clients’ long-term business objectives.
  • Engage directly with client leadership to establish IAM strategy, operational models, and roadmap.
  • Cultivate a positive team culture, facilitating collaboration, and providing clarity on project roles, timelines, and objectives.
  • Demonstrate clear and organised communication, both written and verbal, with clients and internal teams, identifying and resolving potential conflicts effectively.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in Identity and Access Management strategy, delivery, or assurance, with hands-on experience in client-facing roles preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex transformation initiatives, ensuring sustainable IAM governance and security protocols.
  • A flexible, proactive mindset to adapt to project priorities while fostering a strong, collaborative environment.
