You will play a key role in, creating an inclusive learning environment that respects and supports the diverse cultural backgrounds of learners. You will be supporting prisoners whose first language is not English, helping them to improve their language skills for both personal development and employability. Youll also have the opportunity to integrate digital resources to enhance learner engagement and develop digital literacy.You should have a recognised ESOL teaching qualification such as CELTA, TESOL or equivalent and have a passion for making a difference. Your experience and expertise will be crucial to help continuously improve the development of the learners.Purpose of the roleAs an ESOL Teacher, you will play a crucial role in identifying the training requirements of the learners and leading them through their learning journey. As a Tutor at HMP Millsike you play a significant part in helping to reduce re-offending through education.
