Financial Analyst

As a valued business partner to our Commercial team, you will use your analytical skills to deliver actionable insights, facilitating transformative change within the organization. Your responsibilities will span from refining reporting processes in a fast-paced environment to fostering cross-departmental collaboration, ultimately driving continuous improvement.
What the role entails:
Reporting:
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of volume and revenue performance, meeting stringent deadlines.
- Oversee the precise recognition of Below the Line (BTL) marketing costs and technical services.
- Take ownership of Commercial balance sheet accounts, conducting monthly reconciliations.
- Implement BI dashboards to enhance automation and provide deeper business insights for On Trade sales channel and Trade Marketing.
Planning & Analysis:
- Collaborate with the Commercial Finance Manager to plan Trade Marketing and BTL marketing expenses for Annual Plan (AP) and Rolling Forecast (RoFo).
- Offer insights to the Trade Marketing team on relevant KPIs for performance monitoring, including stock holding analysis for POS items.
- Lead monthly Commercial Review meetings to analyze sales performance and optimize pricing investments.
- Conduct thorough analysis of marketing initiatives' performance for On Trade sales channel to inform future strategies.
- Generate monthly cost center reports for all sales channels, aiding in effective budget management.
Your Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Progress towards CIMA / ACCA certification.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of effective business partnership.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail, coupled with a drive for process improvement and automation.
- Collaborative team player adaptable to dynamic business needs.
- Familiarity with BI tools for financial analysis preferred.
- Previous experience in FMCG industry desirable.
