Starting immediately or in September, the school are looking for an outstanding SEN teacher to join them on a permanent basis.

This position will be to work with a range of learners across Key stages 3/4. You will need to be able to teach Maths from KS2-KS4.

This would suit either a Primary Maths Teacher or a secondary trained teacher.

The School:

This SEN school is based in Huddersfield catering to ages of 11-16 with a focus upon providing a highly aspirational, well-rounded education for all students. The school caters for 75 students and has a newly created designated specialist provision which supports those students who have become disengaged with formal education and require a more tailored approach. The school has excellent and state of the art facilities which supports growth and development.

What you will need:

* Experience working as a qualified teacher

* Expert behaviour management and have a range of techniques

* Experience working with learners with a range of needs

* The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods

* These young people need consistency and so you need to be able to commit to working for a long period of time
