Job Title: Finance Manager
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 8.30am-5pm (hybrid optional)
Purpose of the Finance Manager Role:
The Finance Manager will ensure that the accounts team adheres to best practices and maintains a high standard of accuracy. As a Finance Manager you will be required to prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reconciliations.
Review control account reconciliations regularly for year-end accounting, including profit and loss analysis.
Oversee and authorise bank reconciliations.
Monitor and authorise the completion of sales and purchase ledgers.
Assist with year-end accounts preparation and support the annual audit.
The Finance Manager will conduct monthly 1-2-1s and annual performance reviews to support team development.
Identify and report risks to Senior Management in a timely manner.
As a Finance Manager you should have an AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in managing an accounting team or department.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting.
Knowledge and experience in payroll management.
Expertise in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting practices.
