About the School: SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive 2-form entry primary school in Greenwich. The school has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is known for its inclusive and nurturing environment.
Role Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to work one-on-one with a child in Year 1. The child is non-verbal and has autism, requiring specialized support to enhance their learning experience and personal development. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September.
Provide tailored support to a non-verbal autistic child in Year 1.
Implement and adapt learning activities to meet the child's individual needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
Monitor and record the child's progress, providing feedback to relevant stakeholders.
Previous experience working with children with autism, particularly non-verbal.
Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a related field are highly desirable.Competitive salary based on experience.
