The Role You will take ownership of group consolidation and statutory reporting across multiple UK and international entities. You will turn complex IFRS data into clear, confident insight that supports decision-making at CFO and Board level. This is a technical , high-impact role focused on consolidations , IFRS reporting, and group-wide financial control . You will modernise processes , strengthen controls, and build a scalable reporting environment that supports Hubexo’s growth. This is what you’ll be doing You will lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidations with accuracy and pace . You will prepare consolidated statutory accounts under IFRS and coordinate local GAAP submissions where required. You will produce cash flow statements, tax calculations and equity reconciliations and deliver reporting and forecasts that support Board and investor decisions. You will apply IFRS 10, IFRS 3, IAS 21, IAS 7 and IAS 12 with confidence and act as a technical expert within the Global Finance function. You will partner with finance leads across markets to improve reporting quality and consistency and own the consolidation system whether that is Cognos Controller, HFM, Tagetik, OneStream or SAP BPC. You will embed strong policies, controls and improvements and play a key role in M&A activity including accounting treatment and integration. You will be the primary contact for auditors and external advisors. What you can expect in this role You will work in an environment where numbers are challenged and decisions move fast. You will operate to tight close deadlines with audit peaks that demand focus and precision. You will work with multinational data across different currencies and accounting frameworks. You will drive change across systems, processes and reporting and collaborate in person with colleagues in our Newcastle hub on key days. About You You bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on group accounting and consolidation experience. You have strong IFRS knowledge including IFRS 10, IFRS 3, IAS 21, IAS 7 and IAS 12. You have worked with a consolidation platform such as Cognos Controller, HFM, Tagetik, OneStream or SAP BPC. You are confident in Excel and have improved reporting processes in your current or previous roles. You are structured, detail-driven and proactive and can balance technical depth with a clear view of the wider picture. Experience in private equity or privately owned groups is an advantage and practice-trained candidates from Big 4 or Top 10 firms are welcome. You are comfortable partnering with senior leaders, challenging assumptions and mentoring others. Fluent English is essential and Swedish language skills are a bonus.
