One of the UK's most respected Azure Expert MSP's are actively seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Solutions Architect to join their team with a focus on Application Modernisation solutions for enterprise customers. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in leading diverse projects and ensuring successful Azure Application / PaaS delivery.

The day-to-day...

  • Lead projects involving cloud-first application design, containerized solutions, and PaaS-based integrations.
  • Guide customers in envisioning and modernizing applications within the cloud.
  • Develop target application designs, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Professional Services, for enterprise-level Azure public cloud implementations and migrations.
  • Drive developer-focused DevOps using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Bicep.
  • Explore and implement the Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Landing Zones, and Well Architected Framework for customer transformations.

️Technical Skills...

  • Knowledge of Azure Web Apps, Azure PaaS database services, and application development / transformation
  • Knowledge of containerisation, application design, plus the networking, security, management, and governance of Azure platforms for containerised workloads
  • Experience with Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL on IaaS, Azure SQL DB PaaS
  • Experience with Azure IaaS services including Azure Virtual Machines and Scale Sets, Azure storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Virtual Desktop is advantageous
  • Experience relevant to traditional application workloads, e.g. SAML, LDAP, websockets, .NET Framework etc.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Minimum 6+ years professional experience in IT consulting, technology, and solutions.
  • Passion for Azure technologies with a continuous learning mindset.
  • Proven experience in Azure implementation and migration projects.
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert [AZ-305] certification.
  • Understanding of Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Landing Zones, and Well Architected Framework.
