This is a challenging opportunity to help harness the buying power of more than £1.The National Distribution and Eurocentral facilities operate over three shift patterns, to include Day/Back Shift rotation, and a constant Nightshift.
The Canderside facility operates within a warehouse, totalling 120,000 Sq. Ft in all aspects of Good’s In, Pick and Dispatch the successful candidate will have experience of working within a similar FMCG warehouse or logistics role, with demonstrable team management, continuous improvement and well-honed follow-ship skills ideally gained within an FMCG warehouse.
Your role will be to manage the operational shift manager ensuring depot stock and availability targets are met, and outbound delivery timescales are realised. The NDS manager will also create and manage SMART productivity targets for the warehouse teams, ensure training targets are met. The NDS Manager will ensure compliance with NHSS Logistics health, safety and security procedures and adhere to risk assessments and the development of safe systems of work. Follow HR policies when dealing with the day-to-day management of staff and ensure all teams promote the values of NSS.
