Contract: Interim, with potential to extend for the remainder of the academic year

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Headteacher to lead a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in the North West. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

The successful candidate will start in January 2025 for the spring term, with the possibility of continuing for the rest of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strong leadership and management to ensure the school continues to deliver high-quality education and support for all students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes the well-being and development of students and staff.
• Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Oversee the implementation of the school’s strategic plan and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
• Manage the school’s budget and resources effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within an SEN setting.
• Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in SEN education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
