Our client has an opportunity for a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for managing the supplier performance across contracts for the service, inspection, testing and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Role: Mechanical Contracts Manager
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Up to £45,000 + company car
Working with suppliers to overcome obstacles and ensure the effective delivery of multiple mechanically biased cyclical service & testing contracts.
Air Conditioning, Swimming Pool Plants, Gas Boiler Systems, HV Generators, Passenger Lifts, HVAC, Catering, Gas Tightness and Controlled Access.
Operating a bespoke asset management system to manage contractor adherence to work schedules, report submission deadlines and auditing technical work reports for errors and omissions.
Experience of facilities management in a large multi-site environment
Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH, Control of Asbestos at Work Act, CDM.
Relevant professionally recognised qualification within appropriate property related field (e.g. BSC/ BEng / HNC / HND or demonstrable sufficient previous experience with a mechanical/engineering bias.
A comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to manipulate data and extract information from management reports output from the AMS.
Experience of programme management and performance management related to property and a comprehensive understanding of current issues in this field.
Valid driving licence with access to own vehicle.
