Personal Characteristics: Being familiar or willing to learn about Muppets from Sesame Street. Having basic computer skills. SU likes to use his computer and to print arts and crafts materials. Willing to play on musical instruments together with the SU. Diploma (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards one. Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, autism spectrum, epilepsy, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues. Awareness of Positive Behaviour Approach when dealing with individuals with challenging behaviour. The ability to keep calm under the pressure. The confidence to work with individuals with challenging behaviour. Excellent communication skills. The passion to work with vulnerable adults The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding. To enjoy singing and dancing with the SU.
