* Commercial Awareness: Deliver cost-effective, impactful software designs while managing scope changes in line with standard operating procedures.
* Project & Resource Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee design projects, ensuring resources are allocated effectively, deadlines are met, and project statuses are communicated to stakeholders.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure software design quality aligns with the company's standards and regulatory demands, verifying solutions with the Control Systems Manager to enhance customer satisfaction.

* Mentorship & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support junior engineers, setting clear objectives and verifying design outputs to align with project schedules.
* Build trust-based relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and actively participating in design reviews, commissioning, and post-installation support.
* Strong proficiency in Rockwell and Siemens programming platforms.
* Hands-on experience with industrial automation software design within a manufacturing context.
* Demonstrated ability to assess technical and regulatory needs, provide feasible solutions, and perform risk assessments.
* Knowledge of British and international standards related to industrial automation systems.
Required: HNC, HND, or BSC in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Proven experience in presenting design solutions, managing project resources, and generating detailed technical documents.
