Maintenance Engineer

Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:00

£As a Maintenance Engineer at our clients Peterborough site, you will be instrumental in maintaining the operational efficiency and performance of their production facilities. You will leverage your extensive engineering skills to ensure machinery and systems function optimally, contributing to the overall productivity of the site. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues and ensure minimal downtime.

Work closely with the production team to improve machine reliability and performance.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and machine performance.

ONC/HNC or equivalent recognised apprenticeship in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.

Proven experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food sector.

Flexible and adaptable approach to work, as tasks may vary daily.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
