Machine Learning Quantitative Researcher

A market-leading global hedge fund is looking for a Machine Learning Quantitative Researcher to join their renowned team. Having full ownership of greenfield projects focused on generating PnL with machine learning through the application of ML algorithms in sophisticated coding solutions. Work at the forefront of the implementation of deep learning in the trading space with immediate returns on your cutting-edge research-driven hypotheses. Responsibilities:

  • Apply the rigorous scientific method and methods such as NLP, neural networks and deep learning to develop sophisticated trading models across multiple asset classes that inform highly profitable trading strategies.
  • Work with an elite group of software and data engineers developing and evolving market-leading research toolkits and data pipelining.
  • Remain connected to the broader research community, staying on top of the latest research and publications and discussing potential applications across various very academically centered software and research teams.

Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in machine learning, computer science or related field.
  • Strong programming skills and experience working with Python and/or C++.
  • Proven ability to take projects from design to delivery.
